15 minutes from the congress centre by taxi, this restaurant really is something special, and has the awards to prove it. TIAN has received three toques (17 Gault-Millau points in 2014) and a Michelin star (2014).

Places of Interest


Although not one specific place, taking a stroll along the Ringstrasse boulevard from Staatsoper to the Rathaus (City Hall) is one of the best ways to get a real flavour of the city.

Along the boulevard are a number of spectacular buildings such as the Vienna State Opera, Kunsthistorisches Museum, Parliament, Burgtheatre, Rathaus and the University of Vienna.

Wiener Riesenrad Ferris Wheel

Nationalbibliothek (National Library)

Schönbrunn Zoo (Vienna Zoo)
